Job overview
This role creates, sources and localises curriculum-relevant resources (including video and multimedia activities) for our Swedish service. A significant aspect of the role involves identifying and writing topical news stories and managing weekly updates of the homepage. Working closely with UK producers, you will explore opportunities to adapt content from one service to another.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Creating curriculum-relevant resources for the F-6 year groups, including video
- Selecting, scripting and producing video and text reports for our Swedish news service for children
- Sourcing images and archive footage
- Building assets using a content management system
- Writing support materials for teachers and pupils
- Managing and tracking information, keeping all records up-to-date and accurate.
Skills:
- Swedish (to mother tongue standard) and fluent English
- First-rate grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised with strong administrative skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to devise and adhere to briefs
- Ability to liaise with and manage multiple stakeholders

- Experience of using a content management system.
This is for the Discovery Education office based in Hammersmith, London. The role will be office based.
