IKEA is launching a store on Oxford Street in 2023
The IKEA Greenwich store
What people have been guessing and speculated in for a while has now been official! IKEA is moving into Topshop’s former flagship store on Oxford Street. Autumn 2023 it plans to open its doors to a store that focuses on home accessories, like curtains, lamps, candles, and other textiles. You will be able to browse around +5000 different products, so the building of 239,000 square feet will be filled to its fullest potential. Also, there will be a restaurant (well, of course!) where you can go for your Swedish food cravings: yes, both their famous meatballs, marabou chocolate, and the classic ‘kladdkaka’.
For the one looking for furniture, there will be room settings of both bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bathrooms. The furniture in the settings will be available for the customer to buy with home delivery, so you do not have to worry about getting it on with you on the central line…

Until its grand opening in 2023, IKEA has four other shops here in the UK that can fulfill all of your needs. (Yes, only fours since the Tottenham store had to close due to the pandemic). You’ll find the directions here.
