FLASH DESIGNER PICCADILLY CIRCUS
This is a challenging role that will suit a junior Flash/ Web designer who is a driven, ambitious and hard working individual with a desire to excel in design. This role will require an individual who is enthusiastic, have a sense of humour and thrive on working in fun, fast moving environment. Applicants must have a stylish portfolio, showing strong design skills with a demonstrated ability to work to a brief.
This role will be based in our busy, cutting edge internal marketing design team. The Flash/ Web Designer will be working on creative visual identities, Promotions, Flash Banners, Landing pages, Microsites, Emails and other various creative content. You will be working across a variety of clients, and with a team of experienced designers, developers and managers.
Responsibilities
• To work on creative projects from concepts through to final execution.
• Designing Flash banners.
• Work with the Design Team on both large and small projects
• Designing creative illustrations for promotions.
• Designing micro sites and web pages.
• Coding HTML emails and CSS landing pages
• Producing creative content for marketing purposes.
• Maintaining existing websites, banners, and campaigns.
Key Skills: Essential
• Flash Actionscript AS2, AS3
• Hand-coding CSS/HTML
• Web 2.0 Design
• Graphic design and Illustration Skills
• Have excellent core design knowledge, Graphic Layout and typography skills.
• Flash Animation skills
• Be able to adapt in style and follow existing styles and brand guidelines.
• Be able to work to in-house standards, guidelines and processes
• Be able to work with other designers and take direction/criticism.
• Have examples of self-initiated projects available to see.
• Have an up to date portfolio.
• Show work from previous jobs and describe exactly what parts they were involved with.
• Be highly motivated.
• Be able to understand briefs and communicate ideas and solutions.
• Want to work for the good of a product/company/team.
• Be a friendly and approachable person who wants to forge a career in Gamesys.
Key Skills: Desirable
• Swedish speaking/ or good knowledge of the language.
• Games experience.
• Experience in working for the entertainment industry
