For years, tourists and locals alike have gladly spent the better part of a Saturday morning queuing around the block for a seat at the Notting Hill original. To satisfy demand – and appetites – patrons can now find branches in Clerkenwell, King’s Cross and Chelsea. Motorcycle enthusiasts need look no further – this place is as biker-friendly as it gets. The venue is huge – over 10,000 sq ft – and features restaurant, lounge area, shop and event space. With a cool vibe and great food (burgers and mac-n-cheese as well as avo-toast and superfood salads) the place has gained a rep as a fun alternative for an atmospheric and grungy day/ night out. Farmacy is the place to go to indulge in organic and well prepped food in a trendy locale with an equally trendy crowd. The menu is extensive, plant-based and colourful – good nutrition is their mission. The immense popularity of Palomar still hasn’t waned since its opening in 2014. Spaces are tight but flavours are big: you will most certainly leave with a memorable food experience. The atmosphere is fun and energetic; staff will chat to you and maybe even encourage you to do some shots together with them. Dishes are small and flavourful Israeli masterpieces.
