After his hugely successful London season in 2012, the ‘bad boy’ of the Edinburgh Fringe, Swedish comedy superstar Magnus Betnér, returns to London’s Leicester Square Theatre for three nights only with his unmissable show.

Challenging the social consensus; honest and unflattering, this son of a pastor delves to the darkest fathoms of comedy.  Sometimes uncomfortable to watch, his edgy and gimmick free views are far too interesting and thought provoking to be labelled as simply ‘controversial’.

Magnus is one of Sweden’s biggest comedy exports. In his native homeland, he has twice earned the title of Swedish Comedian of the Year in 2005 and 2010. His TV credits include guest appearances on Parlamentet, 100%, Veckans nyheter as well as starring in his own shows Betnér Live, his own chat show, and I ditt ansikte, where he performed in front of groups he had previously joked about including Christians and Greenpeace.

As well as his previous London run In the UK, Magnus has also completed a critically acclaimed run at The Stand Comedy Club during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010, where he garnered multiple four stars reviews and many new British fans.
