Skandilicious launches popup Swedish Christmas Restaurant & Bar in central London this festive season.
We are excited for the upcoming launch of the popup Swedish Christmas Restaurant & Bar in Chelsea Physic Garden on the 1?December 2015.
From the meticulously prepared food served in the traditional Smörgåsbord way to the Scandistyle decor and seasonal cocktails prepared by an awardwinning mixologist, this year’s Swedish Christmas popup is sure to impress those that are looking for a traditional Scandi meal with a twist during the festive season. The restaurant will serve a traditional Swedish “Julbord” (the Christmas version of a Smörgåsbord), featuring all the customary dishes and a few contemporary additions, including gravlax and smoked salmon, mustard crumbed roast ham, Swedish meatballs and many types of different herring for the more adventurous. Guests are invited to enjoy the seasonal Cocktails from the bar, where Fredrik Olsson voted London’s Best Bartender by London Club Bar Awards has created an exclusive cocktail menu using exciting ingredients from the North.
Running for three weeks leading up to Christmas, the popup will bring a taste of Scandinavia to London. Fredrik & Maria, CoFounders of Swedish Christmas, commented: ‘We’re excited to offer a unique Christmas dining experience in a wonderful London setting. As always we are hoping to delight & surprise our guests by giving them a Christmas dining experience that is just that little bit sweder’.

The Swedish Christmas restaurant can be hired for larger exclusive lunches, dinners and parties, and offsite catering is also offered for events of all sizes.
