Swedish VALBORG 2017
Come celebrate VALBORG 2017 with us!
The last day of April sees Walpurgis Eve, or Valborg, in Sweden. Spring is greeted with drinking, songs and bonfires at public gatherings all over the country. For the more politically active, these celebrations are followed by the demonstrations and heated speeches of 1 May.
Valborg is traditionally celebrated outside, but knowing the London weather, we have decided to take this year’s celebration inside and will be taking over the historic, QUEENS, fantastically renovated bowling, bar, lounge and London’s only all year round, ice skating rink!Especially for LondonSwedes there will be the 12 bowling lanes, ping-pong tables, DJ, Swedish food, drinks, arcades and much more.
There is plenty of space to grab a bite to eat and chill or to just have drinks and mingle if the activities are not for you.
Time: 6 pm – 11.30pm (you can also sign up to use the space during the day)
