They use coffee from Swedish company, Löfbergs. As one of Europe’s biggest importers of organic and Fairtrade coffee, Löfbergs are meticulous about selecting only the finest beans to be roasted at their Karlstad roastery.
Just as important as high quality beans is the method by which they are turned into a cup of yummy frothy coffee. Making beautiful coffee and getting the milk just right, is truly an art form and one that any Barista will tell you, takes much practice! They provide Barista training at HEJ Bermondsey with their very own coffee expert (they like to refer to him as they keen bean). As well as their coffee shop and barista training for clients and coffee lovers, they work with corporate partners and community agencies to provide training for people who aren’t in education, employment or training to help them help themselves back into employment in the food and drink industry.
