Midsommarfirandet 21/6 – 2014
OBS! Vill man ha midsommarstång får man göra sin egen. Vi ser gärna några midsommarstångar och lekar! Ta även med paraply.

Fancy dancing like a frog while pouring Rekordelig Cider down your throat after a delicious meal?
A day filled with music, Swedish food and a lot of dancing around the (invisible) Maypole is awaiting those who join in the celebrations in Hyde Park Saturday June 22, 2013.
Previous years over 2000 Swedes have gathered in Hyde Park to celebrate the Swedish Midsummer.
The tradition grew strong thanks to the initiative of The Swedish Chamber of Commerce, Viking Party People and LondonSvenskar/LondonSwedes and for over 10 years Swedes have made the celebrations in Hyde Park better than anywhere else.
However, since 2011 no one is officially the organiser of the event. Nor are we. The regulations are to hard to follow. A group of maximum 40 people can attend the park together. So come with 39 friends and join the other 50 groups of 40 people in the park…. 🙂
Bring: Food, drinks and songbooks with “Snapsvisor”.
Time: Saturday – day.
Where: Ask a Swede, we can not be held responsible for bringing people to the park. This year there is an official after party from 8pm – get tickets here!

We are not bringing a maypole and we are not offering potatosacks for a potatosack race. We are not taking any responsibility for this event. It’s up to all groups to bring your own food, music and friends. We are kindly asking everyone to bring binbags and collect your rubbish before leaving the park.
